The UL210D is the mid-throw and down-fill element of the "Modular Line Array" UNILINE system, which also consists of the UL210 long throw speaker, the UL115B bass speaker and the UL118B infra-bass subwoofer. A very wide variety of UL210/UL210D/UL115B/UL118B configurations are possible thanks to the acoustical and mechanical modularity of the system which offers virtually, an unlimited number of combinations for optimal coverage of just about any site.
The UL210D speaker uses same equipment as the UL210, almost the same IsotopTM driver to ensure perfect a line source alignment and sonic performance throughout the mid-hi frequency range (450Hz – 19kHz). From an acoustic point of view, the horizontal opening achieves up to 105° of constant directivity in the mid-hi frequency range.
It is designed and optimized for short/medium throw applications and for down-fill use at the bottom of a main UL210 speaker cluster where it can be used in configurations of 1 to 4 units.
The rigging system is identical to the UL210, as are the transport and storage systems (dollies and flight cases). Methods of set up and use are also the same.
The UL210D can be used as a stand-alone system, anything from 3 to 12 UL210D speakers may be used.
The Uniline system is fully controlled by digital APG processing which for complete library of presets are provided.
