The APG DX8 speaker is a compact two-way wideband speaker. The LF/MF section comprises an 8" speaker loaded in a 4th-order vented enclosure, with a coaxial 1" compression driver handling the HF section.
Like the other APG Dispersion series, the DX8 uses a coaxial loudspeaker set that provides a very coherent acoustic field with 105° conical coverage. The DX8 is characterized by an exceptional power/ size ratio, great clarity in sound reproduction and a very sophisticated ergonomics: due to its cabinet geometry, with its 30° slanted panel, the DX8 is at home either on the stage as a monitor, or as a main front of house speaker.
The wooden enclosure features a 36 mm pole mount socket, two cut-out handles and a recessed space for the "touring" quick removable fixing system QRFS30. Threaded inserts are also standard equipment, allowing the use of a 4 mm steel bracket for fixed installation (option ETDX8). Dedicated DMS48F processor is available to operate the DX8 in wideband mode or combined with APG subwoofers 'SB' series.
